Intro

I love editing, creating, mixing and finishing. It never gets old for me (ask my wife what I do at night). My superpower is sound. I am colorblind, so my hearing is laser focused with the extra energy I may be using to interpret what I’m seeing. I love collaborating and making things I am proud of every day.

My CV

With over 20 years of experience in audio engineering, editing, and mixing, I am an award-winning Sound Editor who has worked on creative teams for major apps, networks, films, and brands. Episodes I edited and mixed for Food Network won 11 Daytime Emmys, and I contributed to the Oscar-winning documentary The Cove as a production audio engineer.

My core competencies include Pro Tools, dialogue editing, mixing, sound effects, and voice overs, as well as broadcast/streaming standards and project supervising. I am passionate about creating immersive and engaging soundscapes that enhance the storytelling and impact of the media I work on. Most recently, I was a Supervising Sound Editor at Calm, the leading app for meditation and wellness, where I oversaw post-production audio for original content and world famous Sleep Stories. I graduated from Full Sail University (1997) and won the Tapeless Studio Course Directors award when Digital Audio was just becoming mainstream.
